Greg Tang Math

Greg Tang has been called the math missionary for the dedication and passion he has shown in sharing his love of math with students, teachers and parents. Since 2001, Greg has done over 2,000 conferences, workshops and author visits, taught more than 300,000 children and adults, and accumulated more than 1,000,000 frequent flier miles on two different airlines and one hotel chain!
Today, Greg is working to make his new strategies, teaching methods and materials more accessible. In 2013, Greg made his popular math website free and it has had more than 15 million page views to date. Greg is now working with his son’s company Big Hatch to apply artificial intelligence concepts to his new, multiplayer math games. Students can practice their math skills while playing students from around the world!

Math Board Games

Take a look at these parent tested, parent approved board games. Enjoy them with your children and be sure to have your children verbalize the mathematics involved in the game as much as possible. For example, if playing a comparing game, have your child say, "My number is more than your number so I take the cards." As time goes on, continue to hone the precision of the language (i.e. my number is 3 more than yours).
